We take our calling to nurture children in faith seriously:

Sunday School

We have two Sunday School classes divided by age. The younger class is roughly ages 4-8 and the older class is roughly ages 9-12. The younger class uses Young Children in Worship and Godly Play curriculum, which are Montessori-style curricula designed to help children engage the biblical stories with wonder and curiosity. The older class uses Shine: Living in God’s Light curriculum, which aims to help students connect their faith with their daily lives.

Confirmation

We offer confirmation class any time there is a cohort of youth (typically grades 7-10.)

Safety

All our Sunday School teachers have PA clearances for working with children. We staff the nursery with two adult caregivers. Our Sunday School classes meet across the hall from one another so a second adult is nearby. Teachers are not alone 1-on-1 with children or youth.
